Millions of documents and growing—the central source for the publications of national governments around the world.

Governments publish continuously — debates, proceedings, reports, budgets, commissions, inquiries, and audits — yet much of this output is poorly indexed, difficult to find, and at risk of disappearing entirely. In an era of political turbulence, disinformation, and contested accountability, reliable access to the official record has never mattered more.
Coherent locates and, where possible, preserves this material, creating standard metadata and assigning persistent identifiers to every item — so that historically and politically important documents remain findable, citable, and stable, even when the original source goes offline.
World Governments provides comprehensive coverage of the UK, Ireland, Canada, US federal agencies, and Oceania, including Australia and New Zealand, with additional coverage of a further 700+ government agencies from more than 180 countries.
With a single searchable resource spanning government output from around the world, researchers, journalists, and policymakers can track, compare, and cite what governments are saying and doing — across regions and over time.
