Open Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist

We're looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the billing process and ensure our customers have a great invoicing experience. 

In our business, Accounts Receivable comes with complexity. Our customers include universities and governments around the world. They ask detailed questions and each invoice is important to them. The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role on our customer success and finance teams and is a highly valued contributor at our company. Here is a message from our President. 

In this role, you will:

  • Handle Accounts Receivables including generating multi-line invoices to customers, distributors, or payment vendors around the world. 

  • Monitor and handle renewal invoicing. 

  • Establish and maintain Coherent Digital’s profile in procurement systems. 

  • Follow complex billing procedures with partners like FEDLINK.

  • Maintain subscription and renewal data in the CRM. 

  • Document the history of complex transactions.

  • Coordinate payment of the rare, outstanding receivable. 

  • Prepare reports and pay monthly sales commissions.

  • Undertake special projects on an ongoing basis. 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or bookkeeping.

  • Ability to learn international, multi-currency invoicing.

  • Ability to learn new accounting software. 

  • Ability to work in a flexible and fast-paced startup environment. 

  • It’s not required, but CPA certification is an impressive plus!
